With 30 years in the insurance industry, Derham leads our liability (loss adjusting) team across Australia. While Derham continues to manage his own book of claims, the broader team consists of 20+ loss adjusters who are specialists in all manner of liability, professional indemnity and product contamination/recall matters.

Over his career, Derham has focussed on the investigation and handling of major public and product liability investigations for both domestic and international insurers and corporate clients. His expertise spans a range of industries including food and beverage, packaging, automotive and heavy manufacturing. Derham joined Crawford in 2002.

Derham’s expertise also extends to product contamination and recall claims. He and the team are regularly appointed on high-profile recall matters in both Australia and across South East Asia.
