Escape of water: the number one priority
Escape of water has been a growing concern for claims directors for several years. Costs are rising and the complexity of water damage claims is increasing the pressure on claims teams to develop innovative solutions to reduce cost without negatively impacting customer outcomes. Against this backdrop of rising costs, there is intense focus within the insurance industry to develop a response to bring escape of water claims under tighter control. In early 2018, we launched Crawford Escape of Water and the results so far are exceeding our expectations. Based on the findings from our research, we have developed a solution that is not only slowing but actually reversing the upward trend - delivering savings of up to 10%.
